You just need to go into mac privacy to allow the app to run. I found that the easiest way to work around this is to get a virtual PC; I subscribe to one from Shadow. The PC is secure and continuously updated with security software that is part of your subscription. I was able to get all my downloaded games for Mac to work using this interface.

I found that partitioning my hard drive took way too much memory. The virtual PC is accessed using an internet connection. Or just purchase a PC laptop. Either way, you get to play ALL the old games, not just the ones for Mac.
